I do enjoy going to the gym, but I don’t work for a gym, so I would be providing support outside of the gym. I can, of course, offer advice and gym programmes, if you’d like! Local parks, home sessions, online, or any other arrangement that would help work with your needs and situation.

Individual Training Sessions

An individual training session would meet face to face, and with flexibility in the location. Ideally, this would be somewhere local to myself, in Musselburgh.
Sessions can be run in 30,45, or 60 minute sessions, depending on what you’re looking to achieve, how much time you have available, how frequent you’d like to meet, and your budget. We can discuss options during a consultation session.
Home sessions are possible, but this might incur an extra cost, depending on travel distance.

Partner/Group Sessions

For many people, exercise is better as a shared experience. It could be that you and a friend or family member are looking to improve your fitness levels and spend time together. It might be less intimidating to sign-up for sessions when your with someone you know. It can also be a way to have tailored help to achieve goals while being able to share the costs of a personal trainer.
The sessions will be designed to work with people of varying abilities – the exercises themselves can be adapted to the situation and people involved.

Online and alternative training support

If you’re not looking for something that follows a traditional route of training, I’m happy to discuss any other ways I can support you. One option could be online support. The flexibility of training online means we don’t have to consider the weather, lighting, or travelling somewhere to meet up – just pop onto the computer or tablet/phone from home!
My support doesn’t have to revolve entirely around a ‘coaching’ type session – perhaps all you want is time to discuss what you’re doing, gain some advice on how you might change things up, motivate yourself, or looking to gain a better understanding of fitness and nutrition. In these cases, we can arrange shorter ‘catch-up/check-in’ style meetings to discuss these (or other) topics.

Online session pricing

Because of the variety of ways to support someone online, it’s impossible to put a pricing table up for this. It will cost less than an in-person support session, but we should have an initial consultation first, and then consider pricing based on our discussion.
